We’ve unveiled a detailed list of the most significant residential real estate transactions recorded in Jefferson County in 2023. The information was sourced from the Jefferson County Assessor’s Office and highlighted homes priced at $1 million or more. Notably, eleven of these high-end properties are a hundred years old or older.
The list also ranks the cities in Jefferson County by the number of sold properties. Golden tops the chart with 167 transactions, followed by Evergreen with 130 sales and Lakewood recording 125. Littleton managed 98 sales, while Arvada achieved 88. Less active in this high-end market were Morrison with 62, Conifer with 36, and Wheat Ridge rounding off with 24 transactions.
The highest average sale prices among cities with at least 20 transactions above $1 million were also reported. Wheat Ridge commanded the highest average at $1,600,492.625, with Evergreen closely behind at $1,586,063.125. Other cities followed with the following averages: Morrison ($1,570,260.375), Golden ($1,518,562.75), Conifer ($1,443,695.875), Littleton ($1,396,063), Lakewood ($1,315,684.625) and lastly, Arvada ($1,261,941).
