Among the top 50 recipients, the most loan dollars ($18 mil.) went to businesses operating in the trade industry, with hospitality and manufacturing businesses not far behind, receiving loan totals of $15.1 mil. and $14.9 mil. respectively.
Arvada-based Kratos Industries LLC received the largest loan total for 2023, closely followed by HukariAscendent Inc. (ranked fourth among woman-owned small businesses in Jeffco) and Colorado Kitchen Pickleball LLC, all bringing in over $5 million each in SBA loans.
Notable mentions beyond the leading three are AEG Automotive Services LLC, Beyond Campus Innovations Hold, and YNN Corp. These companies further underscored the diversity of industries represented on the list, which cut across a wide range of industries from Automotive Services to Education. Ralston Valley Canine LLC, a veterinarian clinic located in Arvada, received loans totaling $1.29 mil. Last year was the third year in a row the clinic received SBA loans, with loans of $47,000 and $1.2 mil. received in 2022 and 2021. CPA Solutions, based in Lakewood, also received loans from the SBA for the second year in a row, with loans totaling $500,000 in 2023 and $3.2 mil. in 2022
