Ball Corp. Appoints Aaron Erter to Board

Ball Corporation’s board of directors has announced the appointment of Aaron Erter, CEO of James Hardie Industries plc, as its newest director. James Hardie Industries is recognized as the world’s primary producer and promoter of high-performance fiber cement siding and fiber gypsum building solutions.

Erter, 51, joined James Hardie as CEO in 2022. Prior to this role, he held the position of CEO at PLZ Corp, a specialty liquid and aerosol manufacturing company. He served as the global president for Sherwin-Williams’ consumer and industrial businesses, senior vice president and general manager of Valspar’s consumer business, and held multiple leadership roles in sales and marketing at Stanley Black & Decker.

Erter earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and holds a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Notre Dame.
