Noodles & Co. Appoints New Director

Noodles & Company, a fast-casual chain based in Broomfield, announced the appointment of Britain Peakes to its board of directors.

Peakes is joining the board as part of a support agreement between Noodles & Co. and Hoak Public Equities. Hoak, which owns approximately 9.48% of the company’s outstanding shares, has agreed to customary standstill, voting, and confidentiality commitments.

An experienced professional in finance and investment, Peakes has significant experience in both private and public markets.

Prior to her appointment, Peakes was a principal investor at Hoak & Co. In that role, she handled a varied range of tasks such as sourcing, transaction negotiation and execution, financial analysis, along with managing portfolio across multiple sectors including real estate, private equity, and public equity. Peakes also held various positions at ACS, Blackhill Partners, Ernst & Young, RM Crowe, and HBC Investments, and has obtained a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
