Analysis: 5 Jeffco Public Companies Pulled in $1B+ Revenue Last Year

A recent examination of Jefferson County’s public companies for the fiscal year 2023 reveals five local corporations exceeded $1 billion in revenue. Among them, two companies have notably surpassed the $10 billion mark.

Topping the revenue leaderboard is Ball Corp., headquartered in Westminster, which reported $14 billion in revenue. Following closely is Molson Coors Beverage Co., based in Golden, with revenues totaling $13.9 billion.

Trimble Inc., also located in Westminster, achieved $3.8 billion in revenue, securing a prominent position in the top ranks. Further down the list, Broomfield’s Vail Resorts Inc. reported revenues of $2.9 billion, while Lakewood’s Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage Inc. rounded out the top five with $1.2 billion in revenue.

Over recent years, the combined revenues of Jefferson County’s 24 public companies have demonstrated steady expansion. Starting at $31.6 billion in 2017, the revenue trend experienced minor fluctuations until a slight dip to $31.1 billion in 2020. Subsequently, there was a notable rebound in 2021, with revenues climbing to $34.6 billion, and further growth to $38.3 billion in 2023.
