Foundry Front Range, part of NRT Behavioral Health, has opened its doors to adult clients in need of care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The Broomfield facility, located at 11952 Gray St., encompasses 44,000 square feet of clinical offices, group therapy rooms, recreational spaces, a gourmet commercial kitchen, and offers 73 treatment beds.
The opening comes at a critical time for Colorado, which is facing rising rates of overdose deaths and limited access to treatment. Foundry Front Range aims to provide skilled clinicians and integrated addiction medicine to a broad range of Colorado residents. Services include evidence-based care, psychoeducation and extensive family programming, with a particular focus on trauma, which significantly impacts individuals with behavioral health disorders. The program employs the Trauma-Integrated Care Model developed by Chief Clinical Advisor Dr. Michael Barnes.
Foundry Front Range was established by founders Ben Cort and Tom Walker, who have extensive backgrounds in behavioral health leadership. They created this facility as a model for future effective behavioral healthcare.
Walker emphasized that the center aims to provide a comprehensive suite of services, addressing various aspects of substance use and its underlying causes. The focus on value-based healthcare seeks to improve treatment effectiveness while reducing long-term healthcare costs. “Taking a value-based approach is key to enabling the personalized recovery-oriented systems of care that reduce relapse rates and help people develop recovery-supportive lifestyles,” Walker said.
An open house held Aug. 15 attracted more than 250 guests, including local officials and treatment professionals.
Foundry Front Range provides medically supervised detoxification and residential treatment services to adults of all genders in a community setting, staffed by qualified licensed clinicians and trained team members. The program is accredited by The Joint Commission and LegitScript, collaborating with most major health plans and RAE 1 Medicaid.
