Natural Grocers, the Lakewood-based, family-operated organic and natural grocery retailer, has introduced six new organic wheat pastas and five flavors of organic pasta sauces as part of its Natural Grocers Brand Products collection.
All six styles of Natural Grocers Brand Organic Pasta are made with a single ingredient — organic durum wheat semolina. They are Certified Organic, vegan, non-GMO and crafted with plant-based and dairy-free ingredients. The new line of pasta sauces is also Certified Organic, gluten-free, made without added sugar, and non-GMO. Notably, four flavors of the sauces are Demeter Certified Biodynamic, adhering to standards that require self-sustaining farming practices and 10% of farm acreage preserved as biodiversity habitat.

The new pasta varieties include:

- Organic Fettuccine
- Organic Fusilli
- Organic Shells
- Organic Penne
- Organic Farfalle
These pastas are available in 16 oz. packages at a national retail price of $2.79. They feature attributes such as being made in Italy, crafted with traditional bronze die cuts, and free from artificial flavorings, additives, preservatives or synthetic colors.
The new pasta sauce flavors include:
- Organic Biodynamic Puttanesca
- Organic Biodynamic Ortolana
- Organic Biodynamic Arrabbiata
- Organic Biodynamic Classic Italian Basil
- Organic Tomato Ricotta*
*All ingredients in the Tomato Ricotta Pasta Sauce are Demeter Certified Biodynamic, apart from the ricotta cheese.
The pasta sauces are also made in Italy, available in 12 oz. containers at a national retail price of $4.99, and share similar attributes to the pastas, including being plant-based, gluten-free and dairy-free.
Since its establishment in 2016, Natural Grocers’ house brand has expanded to offer over 800 high-quality products, available exclusively at Natural Grocers stores.
