Trimble Launches Tiered Subscription Plans for Civil Contractors

Trimble Inc. (Nasdaq: TRMB) has announced three new subscription plans — Trimble Works Core, Pro, and Premium — designed for civil contractors. These plans provide a flexible way to access Trimble’s hardware and software solutions under a single contract.

Each Trimble Works Subscription plan allows contractors to purchase specific civil construction software solutions, including Trimble Earthworks Grade Control Platform and Trimble Siteworks Software. The subscriptions also include device licensing and software maintenance throughout the subscription term, alongside Trimble WorksManager field-to-office software for integrated operations.

The Trimble Works Core plan lets customers manage newly bought or existing Trimble and supported non-Trimble hardware components while providing essential software licenses at a lower upfront cost.

The Trimble Works Pro plan is aimed at contractors who wish to minimize technology downtime and unplanned repair costs, offering protection against unexpected hardware damage to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.

For those requiring more comprehensive protection and service, the Trimble Works Premium plan includes all the benefits of Works Pro and offers hardware upgrades at no extra charge, ensuring access to the latest technology and maximizing uptime.

“Since its introduction three years ago, our Works subscription offerings have delivered greater operational flexibility to civil contractors worldwide,” said Elwyn McLachlan, vice president of civil solutions at Westminster-based Trimble. “This new subscription program meets the varying needs of customers of all types and sizes — from large fleet operators to local excavation companies.”
