
Broomfield-based Flatiron Construction Corp. and Dragados North America have successfully integrated, creating the second largest civil engineering and construction company in North America. This integration follows the announcement of their combination in July 2024 by Dragados and Hochtief.
The new entity, named FlatironDragados, is owned 61.8% by Dragados, S.A. and 38.2% by Hochtief. Javier Sevilla will serve as the CEO, while Peter Davoren will hold the position of chairman, in addition to his role as chairman and CEO of Turner Construction Co.
FlatironDragados enters 2025 with a backlog of USD $18.5 billion and combined revenues for 2023 amounting to USD $6.1 billion. The company has a presence in 24 U.S. states and eight Canadian provinces.

The new company will focus on innovation and efficiency to meet industry demands and foster long-term relationships with employees, clients, and partners. FlatironDragados is dedicated to shaping the infrastructure landscape and enhancing the economic and social well-being of communities across North America.
As part of the ACS Group, FlatironDragados collaborates with public and private clients to deliver essential infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges, aviation facilities, dams, rail and transit systems, and water treatment facilities.
