Natural Grocers has introduced its latest house-brand product: Natural Grocers Brand Organic Mussels. These mussels are sustainably rope-grown in Chile’s waters and fully cooked.
The Organic Mussels are part of the Natural Grocers Brand Frozen Seafood line, joining offerings like wild-caught cod and wild-caught shrimp.
Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing at Lakewood-based Natural Grocers, said that the company is committed to quality through its suppliers, who emphasize ocean stewardship, traceability and sustainability.
The mussels are rope-grown at a dedicated facility, ensuring freshness and a cleaner product, the company said. They are certified organic, non-GMO and sustainably harvested. Each 16 oz packet is priced at $4.99.
Since its launch in 2016, the Natural Grocers Brand has expanded to over 800 products available exclusively in Natural Grocers stores. Recent additions include Organic Coconut Water, with more products, such as three new varieties of Natural Grocers Brand Chips, expected soon.
