AspenRidge Recovery LLC, based in Lakewood, and Colorado Medication-Assisted Recovery (CMAR) have merged, combining their resources and expertise to enhance addiction treatment services and improve access to care. The merger aims to strengthen both organizations and position them for future growth.
With the integration of clinical expertise and streamlined operations, the new organization intends to better serve individuals and families affected by addiction. Cortland Mathers-Suter, founder of both companies, will lead as CEO, focusing on maintaining high standards of care and expanding access to innovative treatment solutions. Michael Damioli, who played a key role in launching and managing Denver-based CMAR, has become the chief operating officer, bringing his clinical experience to drive operational excellence.
“This strengthens our ability to provide exceptional care,” Mathers-Suter said. “CMAR has led the way in expanding access to cutting-edge addiction treatment, and by bringing our teams together, we can innovate, grow and reach even more people seeking recovery.” The combined efforts will continue to develop treatment programs addressing the spectrum of addiction and mental health challenges.
AspenRidge and CMAR reaffirm their commitment to providing comprehensive, evidence-based addiction treatment, the companies said. The merger allows for improved accessibility, enhanced support systems and new approaches to long-term recovery. By merging CMAR’s medication-assisted treatment expertise with AspenRidge’s recovery programs, the organization will offer a holistic and individualized approach to care.
