Outdoor furnishings company Arden, part of the Central Garden & Pet Co. portfolio, has launched an exclusive, artist-designed Red Rocks Cushion. The cushion, available at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre starting April 23, aims to enhance comfort for concertgoers during performances at the venue.
The cushion was created in collaboration with local Denver artist duo Magik Studios and is inspired by the colors of Red Rocks. It seeks to address the challenge of uncomfortable seating at the amphitheater, blending functionality with artistic expression. The Red Rocks Cushion will be available from April through November, coinciding with the 2025 concert season.
The official debut will take place April 23, with activations at 19 select concerts, including performances by Tina Fey & Amy Poehler, Brad Paisley, and Alison Krauss & Union Station.
“We saw a clear need — concertgoers love Red Rocks, but the seating can be tough for long shows,” said Carrie Belcher, director of marketing and advertising at Arden. “The Red Rocks Cushion is a simple yet impactful solution that blends ergonomic support with stunning, venue-inspired artwork that allows fans to enjoy the full experience.”
Designed specifically for improved comfort during long concerts, the cushion includes features such as ergonomic support, a portable and foldable design, and weather-resistant fabric.
This launch marks Arden’s entry into venue-specific seating solutions, with aspirations to enhance audience comfort at legendary locations like Red Rocks. “Red Rocks isn’t just a venue — it’s a place that holds incredible memories and inspiration for us. To create artwork that reflects its beauty and energy is something truly special,” said Kristen Fogarty, co-founder of Magik Studios.
