Lincoln Avenue Communities (LAC) has officially broken ground on the Marshall Pointe Apartments, a new affordable housing development in Arvada. The ceremony took place last week, with local business and community leaders in attendance.
Marshall Pointe will consist of 260 units in a four-story building, primarily offering one- and two-bedroom apartments. It is expected to begin leasing in September 2026. Units will be available for residents earning between 30% and 70% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
“We are proud to commence work today on LAC’s second ground-up development in the Denver metro area,” said Ben Taylor, LAC vice president and project partner. “Marshall Pointe will provide high-quality, affordable housing for families in one of Colorado’s fastest-growing communities.”
The development will feature communal amenities, including two courtyards, a fitness center, game room and a lounge. Additionally, the project will partner with Family Tree Inc., a nonprofit agency, to provide permanent supportive housing for residents.
The project is financed through a collaboration with the Arvada Housing Authority and the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, along with support from various partners, including the National Equity Fund and JP Morgan Chase.
