Q1 SBA loans to Jeffco firms up 78%

First quarter Small Business Administration (SBA) loans to Jeffco businesses dwarf totals seen in the same period a year ago. Jefferson County businesses received $39.27 million dollars in loans in Q1 2025 compared to just over $22 million in Q1 2024 — an increase of more than 78%. A total of 72 local companies received funding in the first quater, with Confluence Spirits Inc. leading the way with $5 million to bolster its distillery operations.

Evoke Behavioral Health LLC follows as the second-largest recipient, obtaining $3.8 million, primarily focused on services for the elderly and disabled. Glennon Properties LLC comes next with $3.54 million, with a focus on child day care services. Together, these top three recipients represent a blend of sectors, from health services to childcare, reflecting community needs.

The industry breakdown among the top 27 recipients is notable. Alongside the lead companies, several sectors such as electrical contractors and employment placement agencies also received funds, demonstrating a wide distribution of financial support. This included loans for retailers, restaurants, and contractors, among others, indicating the broad impact of SBA funding on local businesses.

Of the $39.27 million in loans granted Jeffco businesses, $35,675,300 were approved under the agency’s 7a loan program, $3,590,000 under the 504 program.

Overall, the total loans received YTD in 2025 underscore the critical role of the SBA in supporting diverse business ventures and fostering economic development in Jefferson County.
