DMC Global Inc. elected John R. “Jay” Doubman as an independent director on its board. Doubman brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience in the industrial and building products sectors.
Currently, Doubman serves as CEO and board member at ICP Group, a manufacturer of specialty coatings and adhesives for the construction industry. He has successfully implemented turnaround strategies at ICP and has held senior executive positions at several other firms, including Ecore International, Cabot Corp. and CertainTeed Corp.

Doubman expressed his honor at joining DMC, noting the company’s portfolio of businesses and his eagerness to work with the board and management team on the company’s growth.
He earned an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University.
