Viega North America Set to Unveil New Manufacturing Facility in Ohio

Viega North America will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new manufacturing, distribution and training facility in Mantua, Ohio, on Sept. 4, 2025. This event marks a significant step in the Broomfield-based company’s strategy for North American expansion.

The 244,000-square-foot facility represents an investment of $178 million, expected to create approximately 68 new jobs in Portage County within the first two years. This location will produce press technology systems and serve as a distribution hub and training center for customers in the eastern United States and Canada.

The facility is projected to contribute $178 million to the regional economy. Viega has collaborated with local officials and economic development organizations during the planning and construction phases, and it plans to maintain these partnerships after the facility opens.

“The Mantua facility represents Viega’s continued investment in North American manufacturing and our dedication to building stronger connections with both our workforce and our customers,” said Marki Huston, CEO of Viega North America. Huston added that the facility will focus on sustainability, being designed as a carbon-neutral ecosystem and aiming for LEED Gold certification.

The facility will feature advanced automation, energy-efficient designs and state-of-the-art quality control systems. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include company executives, government officials and local economic development representatives to celebrate the opening.
