
The City of Littleton has established a new executive position, the director of major projects, to enhance the delivery of significant city initiatives. Adrienne Burton has been appointed to this role as part of the city’s ongoing efforts to implement its strategic plan, Horizon 2027.
Burton, who has more than 20 years of experience in planning, design, construction and project management, previously served as Littleton’s interim finance director. Her background includes managing major civic projects and developing project management standards.
“I am thrilled to announce the promotion of Adrienne Burton as our first director of major projects,” said Littleton City Manager Jim Becklenberg. “Her leadership has been instrumental in moving key projects forward, and her ability to bring diverse teams together has strengthened our organization.”
In her new role, Burton will collaborate with city leadership and regional partners to ensure effective and transparent execution of Littleton’s capital projects. Burton expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “I am deeply honored to step into this new role and to continue serving the City of Littleton in such a meaningful way.”
