
The Molson Coors Beverage Co. Board of Directors has appointed Rahul Goyal as president and chief executive officer, effective Oct. 1, 2025. Goyal, currently the chief strategy officer, will succeed Gavin Hattersley, who will remain in an advisory role until the end of 2025 to help ensure a smooth transition.
Goyal has spent 24 years at Molson Coors. He began his career at Coors Brewing Co. in Golden, and has since held various global leadership positions, including chief information officer for Molson Coors in the UK and chief financial officer for Molson Coors in India. His notable accomplishments include expanding the company’s portfolio and leading partnerships with The Coca-Cola Company and Fever-Tree. Goyal has also played a key role in major acquisitions, such as ZOA and Naked Life.
David Coors, Board chair, stated, “After conducting an extensive and thorough CEO succession process, it was clear that Rahul brought the right experience and vision that we believe is needed to drive the next phase of growth for Molson Coors.”
In his statement, Goyal expressed his readiness to lead the company, highlighting the importance of the employees and partners and emphasizing his commitment to driving growth and maintaining the company’s legacy. Outgoing CEO Hattersley expressed confidence in Goyal’s leadership skills, noting his dedication and ability to deliver results.
The Board acknowledged Gavin Hattersley’s six years of leadership and thanked him for his contributions to Molson Coors during his tenure.
