Governor Appoints Jeffco-based Members to Committees

On October 13, 2025, Governor Polis announced several appointments to various boards and commissions, highlighting seven individuals from the Jefferson County region.

The Colorado Disability Funding Committee, which supports projects enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities, saw the appointment of Kari Easterly from Arvada, who has experience with nonprofit management, to a term expiring on August 12, 2028.

Asheligh Ross of Golden was appointed to the Geologic Storage Stewardship Enterprise Board for a term ending on September 1, 2026. This board oversees the long-term management of underground carbon dioxide storage sites. Anna Littlefield from Evergreen also joined the board for a term expiring September 1, 2028, bringing substantial experience in technical fields relevant to wellbore monitoring and stewardship.

The Regional Air Quality Council, responsible for air quality planning in the Denver area, appointed Susan Alice Wood from Wheat Ridge to represent the Regional Transportation District.

Tracie White from Morrison was appointed to the Rail Industry Safety Advisory Committee for a term ending on July 31, 2027. Her role focuses on promoting safety and reducing risks in railroad operations statewide.

Additionally, the Statewide Independent Living Council appointed Stanley Cutter from Broomfield and Brian Grewe from Littleton, both individuals with disabilities, for terms expiring October 1, 2028.
