3D Collaborators Event Lands in Golden

The 3D Collaboration & Interoperability Congress (3D CIC), produced by Action Engineering, will celebrate its 10th anniversary from March 2–4, 2026, in Golden, Colorado. Since its inception in 2016, 3D CIC has facilitated connections among leaders, standards developers, and practitioners in the digital manufacturing sector.

This milestone event will reflect on a decade of advancements in areas such as Model-Based Definition (MBD) and 3D data interoperability, while looking ahead to future innovations. “3D CIC was founded to bridge the gap between theory and implementation in the model-based enterprise space,” said Jennifer Herron. “Ten years later, we’re proud to see how these conversations have transformed into real-world change, and we’re excited to gather once again to fuel the next decade of progress.”

The 2026 event will feature a curated agenda with real-world case studies, insights from leaders across various industries including aerospace, defense, automotive, and medical devices, as well as networking opportunities for engineers and decision-makers. Special programming will also honor those who have contributed to interoperability since the congress began.
