Regis Company Awarded for Skills Platform

The Regis Company has won three Gold Awards at the Brandon Hall Group 2025 Technology Excellence Awards, acknowledging its practice-based approach to workforce readiness. The company received top honors in categories for gaming or simulation technology, leadership simulation tools, and a newly introduced skills intelligence and skills-based platforms category.

This recognition comes as Chief Learning Officers (CLOs) are under increasing pressure to demonstrate the effectiveness of training programs. Despite 76% of organizations investing heavily in training, only 40% can show that this leads to improved job performance. “The missing ingredient is practice,” said Eric Dingler, advisor to The Regis Company and former CLO at Deloitte.

Mike Vaughan, CEO of The Regis Company, noted the industry demand for meaningful data, stating, “CLOs want to move beyond completion metrics to actual proof of capability.” The awards highlight SimGate’s role in providing skills intelligence by using AI-driven simulations that assess learner performance in realistic environments.

The Brandon Hall Group created the Best Skills Intelligence & Skills-Based Platforms category to acknowledge the increasing importance of technology in identifying and validating skills within organizations. SimGate stands out as a platform designed specifically for both skill development and validation, differing from traditional learning systems by focusing on real-world application rather than just tracking completion rates.

The Regis Company, established in 2003 and based in Golden, combines simulation expertise and advanced AI technology to deliver effective workforce readiness solutions. It has received over 50 industry awards and collaborates with prominent AI providers.
