Broomfield-based Viega North America has announced the appointment of Dave DeLater as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. This move comes as the company continues its expansion in the North American market.
DeLater brings over 30 years of global operations experience, including leadership roles in manufacturing across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Previously, he was Vice President of Global Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he oversaw multiple sites and regions.
In his new role, DeLater will manage operations initiatives at Viega’s North American manufacturing and logistics locations and will report directly to CEO Marki Huston, who was promoted from COO in early 2025.
