
Quantinuum announced today the appointment of Nitesh Sharan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 6, 2026. Sharan brings over 25 years of global finance experience in technology, consumer products, and consulting.
He joins Broomfield-based Quantinuum after serving nearly five years as CFO of SoundHound AI, Inc., where he led the company through its public listing in 2022. His role included overseeing strategic financial planning, accounting, corporate strategy, human resources, legal, and intellectual property.

Prior to his tenure at SoundHound AI, Sharan spent over five years at Nike in various leadership roles, including Vice President of Investor Relations & Treasurer and CFO of Global Operations & Technology. He also has 15 years of senior leadership experience at Hewlett-Packard and began his career as a consultant at Accenture. Sharan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, with an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. Currently based in Portland, Oregon, he is originally from Cleveland, Ohio.
Quantinuum is recognized as a leader in quantum computing, focusing on developing a full-stack platform for practical deployment in various industries including pharmaceuticals and financial services.
