Wind-Whipped Jeffco Schools Reopen

Following a tumultuous weekend of high winds and prolonged power outages, all Jeffco Public Schools are officially back in operation as of April 10. The weather conditions led to closures at five school buildings through Tuesday, April 9.

Of the five affected buildings, three serve students. These campuses, which had to remain shut through April 9, have now resumed regular operations. The list of reopened student-serving schools includes Maple Grove Elementary School, Stober Elementary School, and Foster K-8.

The operational reboot brings to an end the unexpected hiatus at these institutions, restoring normal education provision to the Jeffco community.
