Broomfield Nonprofits Lead Jeffco with $2.8B in 2021-2022 Revenue

Broomfield reported the highest total revenue in the last two years among Jeffco-based Nonprofit organizations, with a total of $2,834,506,496. This was closely followed by Lakewood and Golden, which generated $2,464,873,216 and $2,361,085,440 respectively. Arvada followed with $1,584,227,456 in revenue generated.

Other cities included Wheat Ridge, Littleton, Denver, Westminster, Evergreen, Edgewater, Morrison, Columbine Valley, Conifer, and Indian Hills. In decreasing order, their revenue stood at $447,188,832, $356,312,192, $260,978,944, $210,318,144, $109,039,840, $62,242,760, $27,595,136, $27,385,740, $16,536,140, and $10,878,150 respectively.

The distribution of nonprofit organizations based in Jefferson County over the past two years has been quantified in a recent data set. The city with the highest count of records is Lakewood, with 76 nonprofits, followed by Golden and Arvada with 47 and 41 respectively.

Further down the list, Littleton is home to 30 nonprofits, Wheat Ridge has 22, and Evergreen 21. Denver, Westminster, and Broomfield also have nonprofit organizations, with the count being 14, 8, and 7 respectively.

Morrison and Conifer both accommodate four nonprofit organizations each, the same number as Edgewater. Indian Hills is home to two nonprofits, while Columbine Valley has the least, with just one nonprofit organization based within the city.
