Arvada Software Provider Expands Leadership Team

Wellspring announced key leadership appointments following its acquisition of Sopheon. The changes aim to strengthen Wellspring’s position in the innovation management sector.

The new leadership team includes Jacob Chappell as chief revenue officer, Sean Reiter as chief marketing officer and Scott Lindeman as chief financial officer. These appointments come as Wellspring seeks to enhance its growth strategies and product offerings.

Chappell brings over 20 years of experience in the SaaS industry, focusing on revenue growth and market strategy. He previously led the revenue organization at SOCi, helping the company exceed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). At Wellspring, Jacob will concentrate on improving go-to-market functions and collaborating with marketing to increase sales opportunities.

Reiter, with 20 years of experience in high-growth SaaS companies, previously drove a marketing strategy that increased ARR sixfold at an ecommerce technology firm. He also helped Pushpay grow its ARR from under $10 million to over $100 million. In his new role, Sean will aim to build a comprehensive marketing program to enhance demand generation and unify Wellspring’s brand story.

Lindeman has extensive experience in SaaS growth, forecasting, and cash management. He led finance teams at Degreed and Domo and has been involved in financing efforts exceeding $500 million and multiple acquisitions totaling over $11 billion. At Wellspring, Scott will focus on refining financial processes and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Wellspring is an Arvada-based provider of tech transfer, intellectual property management and innovation management software solutions for corporations, universities and government entities.
