U.S. Compliance (USC), a Minnesota provider of environmental, health and safety (EHS) services, has acquired Hellman & Associates Inc., an EHS consulting firm based in Wheat Ridge. This acquisition positions USC for continued growth in the Rocky Mountain region.
USC, supported by Susquehanna Growth Equity, utilizes a Compliance-as-a-Service (CaaS) model that integrates consulting, cloud-based software and on-demand support to assist clients in achieving and maintaining EHS compliance, mitigating risk and enhancing overall company performance.

Founded in 1998 by Ryan Hellman, Hellman & Associates Inc. offers a variety of EHS services, including their version of CaaS called Assured Compliance, management systems, customized training programs, auditing, regulatory compliance reporting and gas detection services. The firm has served more than 140 businesses in the Rocky Mountain region.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Hennepin Partners acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Hellman & Associates, while Troutman Pepper served as legal counsel to U.S. Compliance.
