Vail Resorts Launches My Epic Pro for Ski and Ride School

Vail Resorts has introduced My Epic Pro for Ski and Ride School, a new technology aimed at enhancing the learning experience for ski and snowboard participants in the upcoming 2025/26 season. My Epic Pro will be integrated into the My Epic app for group lesson participants at Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone.

This new feature will offer direct-to-lesson digital check-in, real-time updates, photo sharing and gamified tracking of skill progression. Bill Rock, Mountain Division president at Broomfield-based Vail Resorts, said, “Ski and Ride School is an essential part of unlocking a lifelong love of the sport. Our world-class instructors play such an important role in helping guests build confidence and progress their skills, and My Epic Pro is a technology companion to that lesson experience.”

Among the key benefits, My Epic Pro will allow participants to bypass traditional check-in protocols, enabling them to go straight to their instructor without waiting in line. Parents will receive real-time updates on their children’s lessons, including photos and progress reports, facilitating a more connected experience.

Additionally, the technology enables users to track their progress with milestones and earn badges, which can be accessed across different lessons and seasons at various Vail Resorts. Greg Willis, Senior Director of Ski and Ride School at Vail Mountain, said, “Absolutely anyone can benefit from this technology – but parents, in particular, will love it.”

My Epic Pro will be available automatically in the My Epic app during the 2025/26 season for child and adult group lessons, with plans for expansion to private lessons and additional mountain resorts in the future. Vail Resorts also indicated that future updates will allow users to book, modify and cancel lessons within the app.

Vail Resorts has invested nearly $2 billion in guest experience improvements over the last decade, introducing innovations such as Mobile Pass, My Epic Gear and My Epic Assistant.
