Trimble Launches Forestry One to Streamline Forestry Operations

Trimble Inc. (Nasdaq: TRMB) has released Trimble Forestry One, a new technology platform designed to connect and streamline forestry operations. The platform was unveiled at the Trimble Forestry User Conference and aims to enhance forest management by integrating with Trimble Connected Forest® solutions.

By utilizing Trimble’s common data environment, Forestry One simplifies regulatory compliance and optimizes supply chain management. The platform builds on Trimble Connected Forest solutions, enabling users to connect and leverage operational, spatial and environmental data, thereby improving decision-making in areas such as forest inventory, harvest planning, logistics and supply chain traceability.

Trimble Forestry One aims to address challenges such as disconnected workflows, siloed data and outdated interfaces, promoting a more connected future for the forestry industry.

Trimble Forestry One streamlines forestry operations with tools for robust data management, real-time inventory visibility, and simplified regulatory compliance. Key features include Trimble DataSync and DataVuze for standardized data, CFX+ for timber traceability, unified inventory tracking, secure user management, and end-to-end timber tracking from forest to mill, Trimble said.

With these capabilities, Trimble hopes to help customers in the forest industry to reduce costs, enhance sustainability, improve transparency and reduce risk. “Trimble Forestry One represents a significant leap forward in technology and workflow enhancement for the forest industry,” said Kevin Toohill, general manager, Forestry at Westminster-based Trimble. “Our goal is to transform how the sector operates by providing a unified platform that enhances collaboration, streamlines workflows and leverages the power of data to drive informed decisions.”
