
The Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) has appointed Dr. Robin Winter-Sperry as the new president for the Americas Region, effective April 1, 2025. Winter-Sperry has been with Golden-based MAPS since 2018, serving as a leader in various capacities including chair of the Membership Committee and a member of the Board of Directors.
During her tenure, she has focused on improving member engagement and has actively participated in mentorship initiatives. “The healthcare landscape is rapidly changing, and medical affairs serves as a crucial connection between scientific discovery and patient care,” said Winter-Sperry. She emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in advancing the medical affairs profession to achieve better health outcomes.
Winter-Sperry brings significant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, having previously held leadership positions at major companies such as Pfizer and Ipsen. In her new role, she will oversee MAPS’ mission across North, Central, and South America, which includes developing regional chapters and enhancing community engagement.
