Energy Fuels Inc. has reported the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders, held virtually on June 11, 2025. Eleven nominees were elected as directors of the Lakewood company, with shareholder support reflected in the vote counts.
Among the results, Michael Stirzaker received the highest approval with 98.89% of votes for his election, while Robert Kirkwood followed closely with 98.16%. Other elected directors include Dennis Higgs, Alexander Morrison, Benjamin Eshleman III, and Barbara Filas, among others, all securing significant support from the shareholders.
Additionally, Bruce Hansen has been appointed as the new chair of the Board, succeeding J. Birks Bovaird, who has served in this role since 2006. Hansen is CEO and a director of General Moly Inc. Bovaird will remain as a director at the company. Mark Chalmers, president and CEO, expressed gratitude for Bovaird’s leadership and welcomed Hansen, highlighting his extensive industry experience as a retired mining executive.
