62 Graduate from Encore Electric Apprenticeship Program

Encore Electric has reported the graduation of 62 apprentices from their electrical apprenticeship programs this year. The graduates completed their training at seven different schools across four states, including Colorado and Montana.

The four-year curriculum encompasses various subjects such as safety, mathematics, wiring, troubleshooting and the National Electrical Code. Each apprentice has developed a solid foundation for a successful career in the electrical trades.

“Being an electrician takes determination, hard work and sacrifice. Graduating and successfully completing your apprenticeship shows the dedication you have to your craft and to Encore Electric. We are so proud of our class of 2025 graduates and excited to see the great opportunities ahead for these wonderful men and women,” said Scott Nelson, director of project resources at Lakewood-based Encore Electric.

Upon completing the program, the graduates will prepare for the journeyman’s licensing exam, which can lead to new opportunities and responsibilities in the electrical industry.

“It’s been inspiring to see all of our apprentices’ hard work and commitment throughout the last four years pay off. I’m especially excited to see them get their Journeyman license and all they will continue to accomplish here at Encore Electric,” said Aida Valenzuela, Encore Electric apprenticeship coordinator.
