Colorado Christian University (CCU) Head Men’s Golf Coach Mark Hull will retire after an extensive 21-year career. Hull joined the program in 2005 and has established CCU Men’s Golf as a respected team within NCAA Division II athletics.
During his tenure, Hull led the Cougars to their first NCAA Division II National Championship in 2024, and the team achieved a National Runner-Up finish in 2025. The 2024–25 season saw the team finish undefeated against all Division II opponents with a record of 153-0-1.
Under Hull’s leadership, the team qualified for nine NCAA Regional Tournaments in the past 12 years and secured four national titles between 2014 and 2017. His coaching approach emphasized not only athletic performance but also character development, guiding student-athletes to excel academically and in competition.
“Coach Hull truly cares about these young men — not just as athletes, but as people,” said Jon Poag, Director of Athletics. CCU President Eric Hogue also highlighted Hull’s lasting influence, stating, “His coaching achievements are remarkable, but what truly defines his legacy is his faithful investment in CCU’s men’s golf program and our amazing student-athletes.”
Lakewood-based CCU will soon begin a national search for Hull’s successor.
