Sunshine Enclosures has introduced a new manufacturing line for Mylar pouches at its facility in Golden. This initiative signifies a key step in the New York company’s efforts to enhance its packaging solutions for customers throughout North America.
By moving Mylar bag production in-house, Sunshine Enclosures aims to shorten lead times, improve quality control and better respond to changing customer demands. The shift also underlines the company’s commitment to American manufacturing. Justin Walker, president of Sunshine Enclosures’ Full Scale LLC division in Golden, said, “Launching domestic Mylar bag production is a direct result of listening to our customers. They want shorter lead times, greater flexibility and better support — and we’re delivering that by investing in U.S.-based manufacturing.”
The new pouch line will cater to various sectors, including food, nutraceuticals, alternative health and pet products. The Mylar pouches are designed for high performance and attractive presentation, featuring advanced printing options and customizable formats.
This development reflects a broader trend towards reshoring and increased supply chain resilience within the packaging industry. In addition to Mylar bags, Sunshine Enclosures produces custom carding, stickers, labels and offers automated packaging customization services.
