Trimble Inc. and KT Corp. are collaborating to provide precise positioning services across South Korea, utilizing Trimble’s advanced technology. This partnership aims to offer bundled telecom and positioning services to automotive and Internet of Things (IoT) companies nationwide.
The joint effort will leverage Westminster-based Trimble’s real-time GNSS correction services, which aim for centimeter-level accuracy. This enhanced positioning will support the development of advanced automotive features and IoT applications, contributing to increased safety and productivity.
Olivier Casabianca from Trimble emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its technological reach, stating, “We are committed to growing and expanding our technology coverage to enable a more connected world of the future.” The collaboration with KT is intended to facilitate easier testing and validation of automotive and IoT systems in various environments across South Korea.
