
Catamount Constructors has announced the appointment of Steven Ivey as Director of Operations for its Denver business unit. Ivey brings over 26 years of experience in the construction industry and a diverse portfolio of project work to this key leadership position.
In his new role, Ivey will work closely with project executives and teams to enhance operational processes, prioritize jobsite safety, and improve quality control practices. He will also oversee project financials and provide strategic guidance. His extensive experience in operations leadership, team development, and risk management will be essential in supporting the company’s growth in the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.

Ivey’s breadth of experience includes work in various sectors such as education, healthcare, energy, civic, and aviation, with a notable recent project involving $80 million in work for the airline industry. Before joining Catamount, he held senior positions at Flintco, Manhattan Construction, and Scull Construction. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Professional Constructor through the American Institute of Constructors.
