FlatironDragados, a major civil infrastructure firm with deep roots in Broomfield, plans to relocate its U.S. corporate headquarters to Metro Atlanta by the end of the year.
The company will move its central operations to Perimeter Summit in Brookhaven, Ga., approximately 15 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The new space will span about 25,000 square feet on the top floor of a modern office tower and serve as the company’s main base for strategic growth across the U.S.
The move comes just over a year after the July 2024 merger of Broomfield-based Flatiron Construction Corp. and the North American arm of Spain-based Dragados. Following the merger, the newly formed FlatironDragados listed both Broomfield and New York City as its U.S. headquarters on its website, reflecting the legacy footprints of both companies.
“This represents an exciting new chapter for our company and creates opportunities for our people to grow,” said Peter Davoren, chairman of FlatironDragados. “We look forward to leveraging the region’s exceptional talent, partnering with top civil construction firms, and advancing solutions that shape sustainable, resilient infrastructure across North America.”
FlatironDragados cited Georgia’s workforce, logistics infrastructure, and favorable business environment as key reasons behind the move. The company is already active in the region, leading construction of the $4.6 billion SR 400 Express Lanes project—one of the largest infrastructure initiatives in Georgia’s history.
