Loft Federal Appoints Doug Loverro as Chairman

Loft Federal LLC, a Golden-based provider of space infrastructure services for the U.S. government, has named Doug Loverro as chairman of the board. His leadership comes as the company prepares to develop a new 60,000-square-foot facility aimed at supporting classified missions.

Loverro has a strong background in national security, having held significant roles at the National Reconnaissance Office, the Department of Defense, and the Space and Missile Systems Center. His expertise is expected to enhance Loft Federal’s capabilities in delivering secure space solutions for U.S. and allied national security missions.

“I am energized by Loft Federal’s mission to rapidly deliver critical capabilities that allow our country to maintain a decisive advantage in an ever-evolving domain,” Loverro said. He aims to help the company expand its access to space through commercially proven technology.

John Eterno, president of Loft Federal, noted that Loverro’s experience will strengthen the company’s offerings and customer connections in the national security space. Loverro’s appointment coincides with Loft Federal’s significant growth as it works on its new secure facility for classified operations.

Loft Federal is a subsidiary of Loft Orbital, specializing in secure satellite solutions for defense, intelligence and civil space customers.
