Gogo Gains Approval for Falcon 2000 Connectivity Upgrade

Gogo Inc.’s connectivity terminal has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for the Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft family. This marks the first time such a connectivity solution has been certified for this line of business jets.

Dassault Falcon Jet collaborated with Broomfield-based Gogo to secure this certification, which is now available for installation through its Authorized Service Center network. The upgrade enables Falcon 2000 owners and operators to access high-speed internet throughout all phases of flight.

The system supports multiple users on various applications, including email, video conferencing, and internet browsing. It is powered by Eutelsat OneWeb’s low-earth orbit satellite constellation and applies to several Falcon 2000 models.

Chris Moore, CEO of Gogo, emphasized that the Falcon 2000 is a popular super mid-size aircraft, stating, “We are proud to have worked alongside Dassault Falcon on the STC and excited to see Gogo Galileo support owners and operators in this segment.”

Moore also mentioned the benefits of the upgrade, stating, “Installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX terminal helps retain asset value, enhances the passenger inflight experience, and supports more efficient flight operations.” The installation process involves fitting just two components, making future upgrades easier.

Gogo and Dassault Falcon Jet expect an approval for the system on the Dassault 7X model before the end of 2025.

Gogo provides in-flight connectivity solutions for business, military, and government aviation, using a combination of air-to-ground and satellite technologies to support global connectivity across various aircraft types.
