DMC Global Inc. has appointed Sharon Spurlin to its board of directors. Spurlin brings more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership and governance, primarily within the energy and industrial sectors.
Currently, Spurlin serves as senior vice president and treasurer at Plains All American Pipeline, overseeing various financial operations. She is also a board member of AdvanSix Inc. and Smart Sand Inc., where she holds leadership roles in their respective committees.
James O’Leary, executive chairman, president and CEO of Broomfield-based DMC Global, expressed confidence in Spurlin’s expertise, stating, “We are pleased to welcome Sharon to DMC’s board of directors. Spurlin holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
