Encore Electric VP Chris Cole Retires

On Sept. 30, Chris Cole, vice president of business development at Encore Electric Inc., retired after 23 years with the company and 47 years in the electrical trade. His contributions were essential to the growth of Encore Electric as it expanded into new markets, the company said.

Cole joined Lakewood-based Encore Electric at its founding, initially working as director of preconstruction. He quickly began securing early projects, including notable jobs at Denver Seminary, Adams 14 and 50 high schools, and Obermeyer Resort in Aspen. He later served as director of technology solutions before his promotion to vice president of business development.

Throughout his career, Cole played a crucial role in establishing Encore Electric’s presence in the data center market, developing the Technology Solutions team, and driving business development efforts in Utah.

Encore Electric President Andy Gordon said, “Chris Cole has been a key force behind the success of Encore Electric as we have grown into new regions, markets and expanded our team.”

Founded in 2003, Encore Electric provides electrical construction solutions and maintenance services to clients in the Rocky Mountain West.
