
Hilco Global has announced that the Best Western Plus Denver West/Golden, a fully renovated 155-room hotel located at 15059 W. Colfax Avenue in Golden, Colorado, will be available for sale through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. The qualifying bid deadline is set for December 3, 2025, and the sale is subject to approval by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.
The hotel is strategically positioned on a 3.05± acre site just off I-70, providing easy access to various outdoor recreational activities, historical attractions, and entertainment venues. It is located minutes from downtown Golden, which features the Coors Brewery and the Colorado School of Mines.
Keith Worsham, a senior director with Hilco Global’s real estate group, noted that “the Denver West/Golden corridor continues to be one of Colorado’s most resilient lodging submarkets,” emphasizing the location’s strong demand from both seasoned operators and newcomers to the market.
Originally built in 1981, the hotel has undergone significant renovations between 2015 and 2022 to enhance guest experience. Amenities include a reception area, a continental breakfast lounge, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and an indoor spa, among others.
