Quantinuum Expands into Singapore with R&D Center

Quantinuum, a quantum computing company based in Broomfield, has officially expanded its operations by establishing a new Research and Development Center in Singapore. The Centre aims to enhance collaboration with local researchers and industries, particularly in the pharmaceutical, materials science, and finance sectors.

The announcement was made along with plans to deploy the company’s quantum computer in Singapore by the end of the year. This initiative aligns with Singapore’s National Quantum Strategy to foster innovation and build a robust workforce in quantum technologies.

This expansion is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board and is part of Quantinuum’s ongoing partnership with Singapore’s National Quantum Office. The Centre will allow Quantinuum to work closely with startups and local talents, fostering the development of solutions that are commercially relevant.

Dr. Rajeeb Hazra, President and CEO of Quantinuum, emphasized the importance of infrastructure and workforce for building a sustainable quantum ecosystem in Singapore.
