Analysis: Golden Leads with Most Attractions in Jefferson County

Golden emerges as the city featuring the most attractions in Jefferson County, according to an analysis of Jeffco attractions. The comprehensive breakdown of attractions by city sheds light on the region’s tourism landscape.

Golden’s 56 attractions include the Colorado Railroad Museum, Coors Brewery Tour and Dinosaur Ridge Discovery Center, among other places of interest.

Following Golden is the city of Lakewood, which has 30 attractions, Littleton with 26 and Arvada with 25.

In the middle range, Westminster has 7 attractions, just above Wheat Ridge, Morrison and Edgewater, which had 6, 4 and 4 respectively.

On the lower end, Evergreen presented 3, just above Idledale, Conifer, and Pine, with each of these cities having only 2, 1, and 1 respectively.

This analysis is based on the 2024 Jefferson County Attractions list, which ranks local attractions by positive user ratings. Among 165 entries on the list, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre took the top spot, boasting 813,067 positive reviews. Although Red Rocks is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver it is physically located in Jefferson County.
