Westminster transportation industry giant Trimble said that its Instinct and Video Intelligence solutions, focused on fleet management and safety, have been selected by TMC. The Des Moines, Iowa-based company is reputed in North America for flatbed transportation services and is known as the largest privately-held flatbed carrier in the U.S.

Trimble’s Instinct is a next-gen telematics and fleet management solution aimed at enhancing productivity through efficient driver workflows and a unique mobile platform. It links drivers with the back-office to refine operations, strengthening the connection between the administration and cab, while simultaneously improving operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety suggests that by installing video-based onboard safety monitoring systems on all large trucks, an estimated 63,000 crashes, 17,700 injuries, and 290 deaths could be prevented annually. Trimble’s Video Intelligence lowers risks for drivers and provides fleets with an unbiased eyewitness account inside and outside the vehicles.
Trimble Video Intelligence uses a set of high-definition forward, side and rear-facing cameras to help fleets protect themselves. It records video determined by company-controlled settings for driver coaching and captures high-resolution video in case of accidents.
