Louisiana Chooses Lakewood firm for Gaming Regulation Upgrade

Lakewood-based Computronix (CX) has been selected by the State of Louisiana to implement a new system for managing gaming regulation, licensing, and compliance. This decision, announced by the Louisiana Office of Technology Services (OTS), follows a competitive procurement process.

The new system, powered by the POSSE platform, aims to modernize Louisiana’s gaming regulatory framework by replacing outdated technologies with a secure, cloud-based management solution. It will assist the Louisiana Gaming Control Board and the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division in streamlining processes related to gaming licenses and compliance.

With the new system, Louisiana will be able to manage a variety of gaming licenses, including those for casinos, sports betting, video poker, and associated gaming personnel and suppliers. The POSSE solution will provide comprehensive lifecycle management for licenses, covering everything from application submission to renewal and compliance tracking.

“We are proud to support the State of Louisiana in advancing its gaming regulatory modernization strategy,” said Joshua Collier, Business Development Director at CX. He emphasized that the platform is designed to help governmental jurisdictions improve compliance management and enhance visibility in complex licensing environments.

CX has a history of working with various regulatory bodies across North America, providing software solutions that enhance gaming compliance and modernize operations.
