Khrysalis, a Broomfield clinic for ketamine and infusion therapy, has announced its new status as an approved provider for Health First Colorado patients, the Medicaid program in Colorado. This approval allows Khrysalis to offer ketamine therapy to Colorado Medicaid patients without requiring a primary care referral.
Ketamine therapy at Khrysalis offers a new approach to improving mental and physical wellness. The treatment uses the anesthetic ketamine, administered through intravenous infusions under medical supervision. Ketamine has been shown to provide relief from conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation and chronic pain. The therapy can alleviate symptoms quickly, often when other treatments have not been effective, according to the company.
“We are thrilled to extend our services to Health First Colorado patients, making it easier for individuals to access the care they need, said Dr. Eugene Reinersman, co-founder of Khrysalis. “Our goal has always been to provide compassionate, personalized treatments that prioritize patient safety, comfort, and well-being. This approval further empowers us to reach more patients and transform more lives.”
Khrysalis helps individuals suffering from depression, chronic pain and mental health conditions through evidence-based therapies, the company said. Their clinicians start with a thorough assessment to ensure safety and to create a tailored care program for each patient. Dr. Garrett Lee, a board-certified physician with over 30 years of experience, stated, “Having witnessed the limitations of traditional medicines and counseling, I am proud to offer ketamine therapy, which has shown remarkable results for many of our patients.”
