Trailhead Community has announced the grand opening of its residential development in Littleton, designed for adults with developmental disabilities and active seniors. The community officially opened Nov. 1, 2024, after years of planning and development.
Trailhead Community provides studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom condos for sale. It integrates adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) alongside neurotypical individuals in an inclusive and cooperative environment. The community also aims to serve seniors seeking a safe and affordable Aging-In-Place option.
“Our mission has always been to create a community of good neighbors,” said Daniel Hansen, Trailhead Community’s real estate agent. “Trailhead Community is a unique opportunity to experience a thoughtfully designed neighborhood that prioritizes accessibility, efficiency, and safety. It’s an inclusive environment where adults with IDD, neurotypical individuals and active seniors can live independently while enjoying the benefits of a connected and supportive community.”
The design features modern amenities and accessibility elements that promote independence and interaction among residents. The community offers a solution for families seeking housing for loved ones with IDD, as well as for seniors looking to downsize while remaining connected.
