
The City of Arvada has appointed Allison Scheck as one of its new deputy city managers, effective Sept. 15, 2025. Scheck brings more than 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors, showcasing a collaborative leadership style and strong problem-solving abilities.
Previously, Scheck served as the deputy city manager for the City of Wheat Ridge, where she provided strategic leadership across multiple departments, including budget, risk management, human resources and communications. Her initiatives focused on strategic planning, community engagement and diversity, which received recognition for enhancing local and regional partnerships.
Before her role in Wheat Ridge, Scheck held leadership positions with the City of Lakewood and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, managing complex projects and budgets. In her new role at Arvada, she will lead efforts across various city departments such as Community and Economic Development and Infrastructure.

Scheck holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication. She is also active on several boards and committees, including the Colorado City & County Management Association Board and the Jeffco Schools Foundation Board of Directors.
